Description
A top-of-the-line Taylor model in both looks and sound!
This completely new bracing pattern was developed by Taylor's young master builder Andy Powers, and is attracting attention for its innovative concept and high-quality tone!
X-bracing has long been a standard for acoustic guitars, and is still used on many guitars today, including other Taylor guitars. However, the new V-Class bracing was developed by Andy Powers with a completely new concept that seeks to provide richer volume and longer sustain to suit the modern music scene, and to offer even more possibilities.
The bracing pattern is designed to carefully monitor the movement of the top, transmitting string vibrations throughout the entire top without loss, resulting in improved volume and sustain, while also providing accurate intonation. While maintaining the basic performance of maintaining the strength of the top, this new Taylor sound is richer, clearer, and more sensitive to even the most delicate picking nuances. Enjoy a new dimension in Taylor sound!
This V-Class bracing has been adopted for the top model 914ce!
Taylor's top-of-the-line 900 Series features a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, both of which are standard wood materials for acoustic guitars, but both are made from carefully selected, high-quality materials.
Among the 900 series, the Grand Auditorium Cutaway 914ce boasts a body shape that is easy to hold, yet boasts a well-balanced sound with volume, power from the low range, and crisp highs. Made from the standard wood material for acoustic guitars, the newly adopted V-Class bracing, and an extremely thin coating, this model has a wider range of balance and a clear, mellow natural sound.
One of the more distinctive details is the black graphite used for the nut, but other exterior specifications are the same as the previous model, with a woody and elegant look, including fingerboard inlays, avalon decoration with purfling on the body, and armrests where the elbows rest on the body, giving it the dignity you'd expect from a higher-end model.
The pickup system is equipped with the newly developed Expression System II.
The ES2's piezo is positioned against the side of the saddle, rather than underneath it, resulting in a clearer sound without any sense of compression. It also allows the entire body to vibrate more effectively.
Featuring a highly playable body shape and Taylor's proprietary ES System technology, this guitar is easy to handle and elegant, making it a player-friendly guitar that stands out on stage. The new V-Class bracing adds a richer, more delicate tone. While there's some slight discoloration, there are no noticeable scratches and it's in excellent condition! If you're interested, give it a try!
