On the cover of this issue, we finally have Eric Miyashiro, the renowned King of Trumpet, who is a symbol of the modern trumpet instrument! In the interview, which mainly focuses on his sixth album as a leader, "Blue Horizon," which is his first release in 15 years, he leaves us with many wise words in his gentle manner.
The accompanying downloadable audio is a selection of five R&B/DANCE tunes (one of which is a bonus track) with grooves and beats derived from black music, combining old and new, as well as Western and Japanese music.
The demo performance was given by Yamagata Kentaro, who was active as a member of "Osaka Monorail" and "Hi-Jack" and has ample experience performing with overseas R&B legends.
By using the sheet music published in the magazine and performance advice from Yamagata himself, you will be able to master the famous songs that have thrilled the media and dance floors alike.
You can also download karaoke tracks that precisely reproduce the original sound source, which will come in handy for performing in a variety of situations.
