Description

Introducing the next generation of pedals in the Legend Amp series, the LA2 line. Determined to be the most versatile distortion pedal on the market, it delivers the rich, saturated tone of a tube amp that complements any amp head style, from your favorite high-gain modern amps to classic classics. The LA2 pedal is an enhanced "PRO" version of the original series.

The Mesa/Boogie Rectifier series amplifiers are another benchmark in modern sound and simply cannot be ignored. While closely related to the Soldano, they have a personality all their own, and we sought to capture some of their key characteristics in the R-2.*

The LA-2 series of two-channel preamp effects are designed to give you complete control over your guitar sound, from clean to overdrive, in a variety of guitar channel configurations. The series' core concept is "your own sound in your pocket." The LA-2 utilizes a unique circuit design developed by AMT specialists, delivering the bright, rich sound of the original tube overdrive pedal, all while consuming a low-voltage (9V) power supply and low current.

This series is characterized by the presence of three outputs intended to implement basic types of channel configurations.

• Direct connection to your guitar system's power amplifier.
• Connecting to a guitar combo or the "clean" channel of an amplifier.
? Direct connection to mixer.

All three outputs can be used simultaneously! Use separate outputs for direct recording and micing, run different effects through different outputs, or record three DAW tracks simultaneously. The routing and recording options are endless. The Legend II Series pedals are a studio engineer's dream come true.

2-channel preamp and distortion pedal
When connected to an amplifier or mixer, the La-2 functions as a two-channel preamp, with footswitchable clean and overdrive channels. The clean channel, common to all models in the series, recreates the sound of classic Fender amplifiers.

When using the LA-2 in effects mode, use the "clean" channel of an external amp or combo. Please note that the combo or amp you use will have a significant impact on the final sound.

In effect mode, the series uses a "partial" active bypass, reducing the need to minimize the length of cable used and preserving the original sound of the instrument when the effect is off.
