SONIC EXCESS Total Distortion Worship in its purest form is a collaboration between Cult FX and Lichtlaerm Audio and the result of an exhaustive tonal journey in search of the ultimate extreme metal distortion.
1) A completely unique distortion circuit
TDW produces intense yet versatile distortion with a very distinctive character. Whether you're playing crushing doom, brutal black metal, or anything in between, TDW will deliver.
2) Adjustable from treble to full-range boost The integrated boost is footswitchable, providing a fully adjustable range from ultra-aggressive beats to towering walls of sound.
3) Active 5-band EQ
Our fader EQ offers a +/- 12dB range per band for extensive tone shaping, and we've placed it after the distortion circuit for maximum effect.
4) Cut knob to adjust the tightness
A Lichtlaerm Audio staple is the Cut knob, which gives you complete control over the structure and tightness of the distortion - blending to your liking from a thick, sludgy drone to a sharp attack with unparalleled string separation, right down to the lowest tunings.
5) Studio-Grade Noise Gate The integrated noise gate delivers the same studio-grade performance as the legendary Lichtlaerm The Key and the Gate. It's fully adjustable and perfectly symbiotic with any level of sonic terror you create with TDW.
