With the modern music scene in mind, the Yamaha BB bass has been boldly redesigned with the concept of being the "ultimate bolt-on passive." This is the BB235 model, a 5-string variation model for entry-level players that achieves high cost performance through overseas manufacturing!

This guitar inherits the wood materials of the higher-end BB models, featuring an alder body, a one-piece maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock finish is also matte black, following the variations on the model, and it features ceramic magnet PJ pickups and a simple single-ply pickguard. The pickup covers use a general-purpose design, allowing for customization. The control section features a 2-volume/1-tone configuration, allowing for fine-tuning of the balance between each pickup.
While this model does not feature the 6-bolt miter neck joint mechanism or miter stringing bridge found in other higher-end models, we have significantly reduced the price by simplifying the parts, assembly, and design structure, making it more accessible than ever for those just starting out on bass.
