[Product Features]
Transformer Balanced Fet Capacitor
The LA-220 is a two-tone FET microphone, allowing you to choose between the warmth of a classic microphone or the clarity of a microphone ideal for modern music with the flip of a switch.
Onboard sound shaping eliminates the need for mic swaps for a time-efficient recording workflow, capturing punchy vocals and electric guitar sounds without annoying high-end sizzle.
The LA-220 uses the same upgraded capsule as the LA-320. Unlike traditional capsule designs, our manually tuned 32mm transducer imparts natural, gentle compression and balance to any sound source, making it ideal for a variety of applications on strings, percussion, and vocals.
High-resolution, low-distortion polypropylene capacitors and resistors, and ultra-low-noise JFETs made in the USA.
