Description

The 5-string model of the T-Bird "D-Roc Standard" that won't drop the head!

Like the Combution and NG series, the D-Roc Standard is a high-cost performance model from D-Roc, with wood processing done in an Asian factory and assembly and setup completed in a Canadian workshop, resulting in excellent playability and sound quality comparable to that of higher-end models.

It is based on an African mahogany body, maple neck, and pau ferro fingerboard, and the beautifully thinly carved top arch and back contours fit the body well. The lightweight headstock and cleverly positioned strap pins eliminate the head drop that is common in TB-type shapes, combining ultimate design with outstanding playability.

The D-Roc features FD-3N pickups, and Dingwall's signature pickup configuration allows for a wide range of tones, from crisp and solid to thick and powerful. Unlike the Z Series and Combustion/NG Series, the D-Roc's pickup configuration allows for selectable pickup positions: all three, center, center and rear, or rear. This allows for a PB-like sound, an NG-2-like sound, and even power comparable to an active guitar with all pickups output.

Dingwal's fan fret design is a result of careful consideration of the fulcrum position and overall balance of the instrument, and thanks to the 37-inch string length, it produces a low B that has a natural sound, almost like a piano, while also providing very comfortable playability. The company's models, which make the most of the benefits of this design, have led many players to discover the appeal of fan frets.

The passive circuitry, which adds little coloration, is compatible with a variety of playback environments, allowing you to create a wide range of sounds depending on the user, from massive vacuum tube amps like the SVT to vintage amps like the B-15, modern preamps like Darkglass, and studio equipment like NEVE.

Due to its popularity, it is always out of stock!
Don't miss this opportunity!
