Description

Gibson Custom Shop was established in 1993 to create the finest electric guitars and basses using high-quality manufacturing techniques, an insatiable spirit of inquiry, and carefully selected materials, cultivated over many years. The Custom Shop lineup, still built using traditional handcrafting methods and a thorough knowledge of vintage instruments, is unrivaled in its exquisite craftsmanship, and is sure to become the ultimate beloved instrument that will endlessly inspire the player's innermost inspiration.

Our latest arrival is a 2024 model. The body top is finished in a tasteful gold color, named "Double Gold," as the model name suggests. The hardware and plastic parts are True Historic, and the metal parts have a light aging finish that complements the VOS finish, further enhancing the vintage charm of this Historic model. The body features a carefully selected maple top and mahogany back, a solid but not too thick C-shaped mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, all traditional wood construction. Paired with the Custombucker pickups, it delivers a crisp, vintage-inspired sound with the powerful acoustics you expect from a humbucker.

The condition of this guitar is somewhat limited, with a few small scratches and a small amount of paint on the fingerboard near the 21st fret that appears to be from the time of manufacture, but there are no deep scratches that detract from its aesthetic, and it is generally in excellent condition. The frets are still more than 80% tall, and there are no issues with the neck or electronics, so this is a guitar you can enjoy for years to come. This is a masterpiece that combines superb looks and tone, so don't miss this opportunity!
