The HeadRush VX5 is a modern, intuitive vocal effects pedal featuring industry-standard Antares AutoTune technology. At the heart of VX5 is the iconic AutoTune algorithm, widely used by some of the greatest artists of all time. This groundbreaking music production software redefined what it means to be a "modern vocalist" and opened up a wider range of effects possibilities for artists who use the human voice as an instrument. VX5 delivers that technology in an intuitive, practical form for everyday musicians and producers.
Dedicated Retune Speed and Humanize knobs let you go from natural-sounding pitch correction to the signature AutoTune sound you've heard all along. Beyond pitch correction, the VX5 also offers studio-quality reverb, delay, chorus, compression, and even flavorful effects. It even features an Intelligent Harmonizer that can automatically generate vocal harmonies based on the chords of a connected guitar or keyboard.
The VX5's easy-to-understand layout, color display, and simple preset switching system make it easy to register presets for each song in your set and instantly adjust parameters while you're performing. The unit's two footswitches allow for smooth preset switching and also enable Talk mode, which is convenient for MCs during live performances. MIDI connectivity via USB makes it easy to automate preset switching from your playback rig.
