A rare limited edition FUZZ model equipped with two NOS germanium transistors, CV7003 (OC44), has arrived!
This germanium Fuzz Face clone was created by Pedal Pawn, a company that produces pedals with extraordinary respect for Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan!
The transistor, the most important part of the Fuzz Face, is the NOS (non-sterile) Texas Instruments CV7003.
The gain is not too high, and the high frequencies remain with a rock-like attack, creating a sound that is perfect for crisp playing with a slight gated feel!
It has a bright tone rather than a dark one, and produces a cohesive sound when playing chords.
When the volume is turned down, the behavior is not a complete cleanup, but rather a rock cleanup that retains a bright range while still retaining a rough, bite-like feel.
The thickness and brilliance of the NOS germanium transistors and the exquisite distortion that feels like an extension of tube saturation create a mood that's hard to believe is from a current product!

Dressed in a custom Olive Drab Green finish, this limited edition pedal uses Texas Instruments CV7003 transistors (OC44 military spec).
The transistors are carefully selected pairs and are all assembled by hand.
This is a fuzz pedal that will set the world on fire.
The guitar volume control allows you to create a clean amp sound, but turning it up a little from its low position will give you a warm, fat, classic tone.
