The NB4, which combines a beautiful flame maple top with mahogany, is now in stock!
This instrument delivers a wide-range sound characteristic of Sugi without ever thinning the low end. The exotic maple top is beautifully dyed for a subdued tone that's not overly flashy. Despite its mahogany body, the sound's contours are clear and the midrange is vibrant. Even when played with a pick, the edgy, undulating midrange stimulates the player. While the spec sheet is unavailable, the fingerboard is likely a rosewood fingerboard. This is a masterful example of Sugi's masterful craftsmanship, maximizing the tone of the finest woods. Overall, Sugi guitars utilize unique design and ideas to capture the artistic aesthetic of nature while taking into account the unique vibration characteristics of the wood to achieve the perfect sound and weight balance. It's no exaggeration to say that these guitars have already established a solid reputation for their quality.
There are some small scratches and dents on the top of the body and in other places, but it still works without any problems.
The truss rod has ample adjustment range and the neck is in good condition.
