Description

Parametric EQ + boost designed specifically for bass.
Achieves studio-quality sound creation and precise control.

The Bass Para Eq is the only parametric EQ/boost pedal designed specifically for bassists, with each EQ's frequency range and input impedance uniquely tailored to the bassist.

The three-band, fully parametric EQ features variable Q width, a dynamic low shelf for tweaking the low end, high-pass and low-pass filters for cutting out unwanted low and high frequencies, and a clean boost of up to +30dB.

The 10MΩ ultra-high impedance input allows you to connect an upright bass (wood bass) with a pickup without losing any of the instrument's original sound. Furthermore, the auto-sensing balanced output allows it to be used as a DI/preamp!

The circuit design is thorough and high quality, comparable to studio recording equipment, with high headroom provided by the internal power supply boosted to 27V, and low noise and distortion audio design. Empress Effects combines the transparent sound and perfect control that only Empress Effects can provide.

The most powerful bass EQ pedal for shaping and enhancing your bass sound.

Key Features: All-analog signal path - Provides rich, natural tone without compromising the instrument's original character.
● Designed specifically for bass - The only parametric EQ pedal specifically designed for low-end instruments. The frequency range and filter response are also optimized for bass.
● Ultra-high resolution and natural EQ - Beautifully adjust the tone without losing sound detail.
● Overwhelming control performance - ±15dB boost/cut, variable Q width, and sweepable frequency for each band.
● Dynamic Low Shelf - A responsive shelf EQ whose cutoff frequency range automatically changes depending on the amount of boost/cut.
● 10MΩ Hi-Z input switch - Ideal for upright basses equipped with piezo pickups, which tend to lose low frequencies with standard input (1MΩ).
● Balanced output - Auto-sensing TRS output sends a clean signal to long cables or DIs.
● Ultra-low noise design - Maintains a clear signal with absolutely no noise even when boosting.
● +30dB clean boost - ideal for solos, gain compensation and amp push.
● 27V internal headroom - High voltage design comparable to studio recording equipment prevents clipping.
● Buffered bypass - Completely eliminates signal degradation caused by pedal boards or long cable runs.
● Compact size - Approximately 63.5 x 122 x 66mm housing with top jack. Fits on any board.
