Description

Martin Custom Shop Model Factory Visit Dealer Exclusive Special Model

Martin has a long history of blending tradition with innovation, making it a long-established name in the acoustic guitar world, and continues to captivate the world with its sound. The Custom Shop is the pinnacle of Martin's production line. They produce everything from gorgeous show models to models that pursue a vintage feel, and of course, they also offer modern models made with the finest woods.

This custom model is a special model that can only be ordered by dealers who visit the Martin factory. It was created to commemorate the relocation of Martin from Manhattan to Cherry Hill in 1839, and is made with cherry wood from the nearby area, making it a special model for Martin, using local materials.

The body features a spruce top, cherry back and sides, and a select hardwood and ebony neck. While the overall feel is similar to the 000-18, the fingerboard position marks and maple binding are small touches reminiscent of a Custom Shop guitar. The design retains the Martin-esque feel, lending it a touch of history.

Unlike the mahogany sound of the 000-18, this model produces a sound with a firm mid-low range and crisp highs, with a good attack. It also responds quickly to arpeggios, making it a great choice for fingerstyle players.

A model that gives you a sense of the history of the long-established Martin.
Don't miss it!
