Description
Description
The Ibanez WH10 is a wah pedal that has gained popularity among well-known professionals thanks to its wide range, good sensitivity, and wide adjustment range.
The first generation was a regular on the vintage market, and the second generation evolved from it. The third generation model, the WH10V3, is now making its debut after undergoing revisions to the specifications and sound of each part.
The new model eliminates the DRY OUT and is equipped with a switch to switch between true bypass and buffered bypass, allowing the player to select the bypass method to suit the pedals and amps they connect after the WH10V3.
We also reviewed the switches and cushion parts to ensure a reliable feel when turning the pedal on and off, improving ease of use as stage gear.
Unlike typical inductor-type wah pedals, which change gain depending on the frequency range, the WH10 uses an op-amp amplification circuit that maintains the same gain across all frequency ranges, allowing it to be used like previous WH10 models. For example, by selecting true bypass mode, moving the pedal to select the desired frequency, then locking the pedal in place and adjusting the boost amount with DEPTH, you can use it as a booster specialized for a specific frequency.
Another great feature of the WH10 is that you can switch the wah frequency range between Guitar (350Hz - 2.2kHz) and Bass (175Hz - 1.1kHz) to get the optimal wah. (Note: The figures are for the WH10V3.)
You can also use the bass mode to apply the effect to your guitar and enjoy the tricky and distinctive wah sound that some famous professional musicians do.
Like the previous model, the robust aluminum die-cast body is now black, differentiating it from the outward appearance.
