Description
Description
Ken has been a fan of the Stratocaster for 25 years, beginning as a guitarist for L'Arc-en-Ciel. He is well aware of its appeal. In 2010, the Fender Custom Shop produced a guitar for him called "Galaxy Red," which embodies Ken's unique philosophy. In 2011, it was released as a limited edition signature model, generating a great deal of buzz.
From the beginning, Ken wanted to release the Stratocaster at a more accessible price point. Since the founding of Fender Music, he has pursued a process of trial and error to ensure that everyone who purchases it has a great experience with the Stratocaster. Finally, in the spring of 2017, he achieved a product with quality, price, and looks that even Ken was satisfied with.
The Galaxy Red's distinctive body finish, custom pink anodized pickguard, and black parts perfectly recreate its look. It also features the same specs as Ken's original guitar, including a 9.5-inch-radius maple fingerboard, original neck shape, vintage frets, and Sperzel locking tuning machines.
This model is meticulously crafted, even down to the parts you can't see, like custom-wound pickups and US-made circuit parts. Ken's signature is engraved on the back of the headstock as proof of his supervision.
The condition of this guitar is in player's condition, with minor dents and scratches, some tarnish and rust on parts, and some scratches from the arm bar on the top of the body. The frets remain at about 70% of their original height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electrical components, making it a guitar you can continue to use relentlessly. With the appealing looks and impressive specs of an artist model, don't miss out on this opportunity!
