Description
Description
Richter's patented Slide Tailpiece eliminates the hassle of adjusting the length of leather straps due to their construction.
You can convert your conventional Richter model to the new Beaver's Tail.
It is made of vegetable tanned buffalo leather and nylon straps, sliders, plates and clamps.
The two mounting methods, "LIFT & LOWER" and "Fixed," allow you to easily adjust the strap length. While playing, you can raise the guitar position for solos and lower it for riffs. The length won't change unless you press down firmly on the instrument, so the weight of the instrument won't affect the strap length.
The "Fixed" buckle allows for the same adjustment as a standard slide buckle, without the need to rethread the strap or remove the strap lock.
Due to the structure of the item, the adjustment range is quite long, so you can adjust it to the optimal length by cutting off the excess part.
The nylon strap can be cut to length with household scissors and melted over a lighter. The included replacement strap has a metal clamp to protect the ends from fraying.
The leather strap has four hanging holes. There is a double seam below each hole. Cut the strap behind these seams. (Once cut, it cannot be lengthened again. Please note that we cannot exchange the strap if it is cut incorrectly.)
For details on the two installation methods and how to cut the strap, please check the manufacturer's official video.
The Slide Tailpiece is compatible with all RICHTER straps with a slot adjustment system.
Set contents: 1 nylon strap, 1 tailpiece, 1 intermediate plate, 1 slider, 1 slide stop, 2 metal clamps
*The Slide Tailpiece is an attachment for the Richter Strap. To attach it to a guitar, you will need a Richter Strap.
