Description

Overdrive/distortion pedals from the charismatic Japanese guitar amp brand AKIMA&NEOS are now in stock!

Inheriting the brand's philosophy that "more than 90% of an electric guitar's tone is determined by the amplifier," this pedal produces a thick, dynamic sound that's unlike anything you'd hear from a pedal, almost like an American amp turned up to full volume. With outstanding response, using the full range of volume controls from 1 to 10, it seamlessly transitions from crisp crunch to classic high-gain distortion without sacrificing practicality or musicality.

Starting with a glassy crunch at Drive 0, turn up the knob and you'll reach maximum distortion at 12 o'clock. From there, the overtones and sticky sustain gradually become more pronounced. Turning it up past 3 o'clock finally reveals perfect rock distortion. This single unit will cover powerful mid-range lead tones without the need for a booster like a TS.

Although it's categorized as a distortion pedal, it feels almost like playing an amplifier. Enjoy the superb sound, handcrafted by amp master Neo Akimatsu.

An overdrive pedal made to order by a famous foreign musician.
Two active filters eliminate the drawbacks common with overdrives, such as cutting low frequencies and not being able to set the tone to boost high frequencies.
And because it has high output, it has a much larger output than conventional models.
