After completing the String, Wind and Percussion Performer Course at Showa University of Music, he graduated from the university's Department of Music. He furthered his saxophone career as a member of the inaugural class of the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Wind Orchestra Academy, a performer development project. He is currently a member of various ensembles, including Japan's proud quartet, the Trouvère Quartet, the rare professional saxophone octet, Saxaccord, the large-scale Tokyo Saxophone Orchestra of young male professionals, and the quintet, Saxophone Boys, which he organizes himself. He is also actively involved in performances and recordings as a soloist, an extra in ensembles, and wind orchestras in Tokyo.
