Description
Description
The guitars are made using carefully selected materials, solid technical skills, and designs born from Dana's extensive experience, and they combine ``high precision as instruments'' with ``a rich, musical tone,'' earning them high praise from many musicians.
This instrument, the "Panama Red type D," is a traditional D-28 style with a vintage focus.
Classic dreadnought style with an Adirondack spruce top, Panama rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard.
The top and braces have been given Beaujois's signature torified finish (aged tone), and are further glued together using animal glue, giving the guitar a mellow tone and a dry, aged nuance that makes it very pleasant to play.
The Panama rosewood used for the back and sides is, as its name suggests, a rosewood native to Central and South America. It is an extremely rare material, with less circulation than Madagascar rosewood, another representative Central and South American rosewood. It is harder than Madagascar rosewood and produces a beautiful sound with bright, sparkling overtones and a rich, full-bodied low midrange.
Although both the top and back are made of hard materials, they never vibrate, and the tone is straight and dignified, with a musical depth that is characteristic of Beaujois. This is a wonderful instrument that expresses the player's nuances and tone perfectly.
The look is simple yet very attractive, and the Panama Rose in particular will allow you to fully enjoy its beautiful grain. The intricate herringbone work, which is a very fine detail but is carefully crafted down to the color, is also stunning.
Not only does Beaujois use rare materials, but they also create guitars that look and sound great, which shows their design sense and attention to detail.
Although it is a team-built product, it is no exaggeration to say that the quality is comparable to that of Luthier Made. It has evolved significantly from the Beaujois of the past, and even though it has become a top brand in the industry, you can still feel its determination to evolve.
This is a very rare model, with only a few units distributed domestically each year.
Please take this opportunity to try it out.
