New Voodoo-Vibe by Roger Mayer, one of the few people with a deep connection to Jimi Hendrix.
The three-dimensional swaying sound, like waves crashing against the surface, and the distorted sound create a mood that is very close to the original that can be heard on the classic album.
It is no exaggeration to say that the unique intonations that can only be achieved with an optical circuit, especially the low-speed Vibe rhythm, is something that only Roger Mayer, who knows the Jimi Hendrix sound best, could achieve.
Even at high distortion levels, the Voodoo-Vibe maintains a powerful trembling sound, quickly transforming into tones so complex they're difficult to put into words, making it perhaps the most effective pedal ever made.
The New Voodoo-Vibe, made by Roger Mayer and one of Jimi Hendrix's few connections, is a classic that will surely be passed down to future generations.
The original Voodoo-Vibe+ is well known as a favorite of Jimmy Page and David Gilmour. This unit's circuit is the same as the Voodoo-Vibe+, so of course the great chorus/vibrato tones remain. Although this unit has the same circuit as the Vibe+, the 2024 does not have a tremolo function. As a successor that matches modern styles, the analog processing has been further evolved.
◆Simple Controls In addition to its compact size, this unit is also characterized by its simplicity and ease of use. There are only four controls: Speed, Mix, EQ, and Intensity.
The ability to mix chorus and vibrato has been added, broadening the effect's texture and range. The EQ allows you to set the sweep parameter sound to your desired tone.
