Description
Description
The original D-45 was manufactured from 1933 onwards, with only 91 units produced by the time production ceased in 1942. Production resumed in 1968, and to this day, it has captivated acoustic guitar fans around the world as Martin's pinnacle guitar model.
The wood materials used are "only the highest quality approved by Martin," and even the purfling on the back is inlaid with abalone, giving it the most ornate look in the series.
The complex interplay of brilliant overtones produces a rich, powerful sound worthy of its reputation as the pinnacle of quality, a charm that only the D-45 can produce.
Its tone is admired by famous artists such as David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Gene Autry, Neil Young, Jimmy Page (45E), Kazuhiko Kato, Takahiko Ishikawa, and many others, and has graced numerous classic albums.
We encourage you to join them and reach for your dreams!
