The Orange Valve Tester MkII is a sophisticated, easy-to-use, and portable vacuum tube tester. Designed to meet the needs of a wide range of users, from experienced audiophiles to beginners, it features fully automatic testing and matching functions. This allows you to maintain optimal vacuum tube performance in a variety of audio equipment, reduce distortion caused by faulty or worn-out vacuum tubes, and easily manage the quality and performance of your amplifier.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Orange Valve Tester MkII revolutionizes tube testing technology. Combining precision and simplicity, it performs a wide range of tests quickly and accurately, setting the global standard for tube testing for audio enthusiasts and service professionals alike.
This device is simple to operate, yet complex tests are taking place inside. An advanced microprocessor control system accurately switches between electrodes and performs measurements. Users simply insert a vacuum tube into the socket, select the type from the list, and press the "OK" button. The status of the vacuum tube is quickly displayed, and no special knowledge is required.
The latest Orange Valve Tester model boasts improved intelligence compared to the previous model, the VT1000, with improved algorithms and an updated database covering test results for new, used, and faulty vacuum tubes. All voltages required for testing are internally supplied and regulated stably, enabling fast static and transient testing while minimizing unnecessary heat generation.
Additionally, the new models feature higher current capacity, enhanced "Grid Leak Detection Test," new "Thermal Runaway" testing, and a "Digital Microphony" function for preamp tubes. The rugged mechanical design and geometry have also been improved, increasing socket durability.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
