Description

The Stratocaster, a signature Fender model that has been loved by guitarists worldwide since its release in 1954, is now available. This time, we have a very rare Stratocaster with a large headstock, rosewood fingerboard, and no tremolo (hardtail) specifications, shipped around 1969.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.3 kg. The body is made of alder. Its most notable feature is its rare non-tremolo design. The beautiful three-tone sunburst color with just the right amount of reddish is striking. While there is some weather checking, dents, belt buckle marks, and tarnish on the metal parts characteristic of a thick skin finish, the guitar is in relatively good condition considering its age. The pickguard, which tends to deteriorate, has been replaced with a replacement part with the same specifications but a pearlescent backing. The pickup covers have also been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. The non-tremolo model features a unique design with no tremolo-related lettering or patent number on the headstock decal logo, making it a must-have for vintage enthusiasts. Looking from the front, there are signs of wood repair to the left of the third fret, and some minor dents and paint chipping on the back of the neck, but these likely won't affect playability too much. The tuners function well with little variation in winding. The frets and nut have been replaced once, and there is currently very little wear, ensuring good playability. The headstock is 15.4mm thick. The nut width is 41.4mm. The neck shape is relatively sturdy and has few quirks.

[Electrical system]
The controls are classic Stratocaster-style: 3-way pickup selector, master volume, neck (front) position tone, and center position tone. The pickups have been replaced with Fender's "Pure Vintage '59 Stratocaster Set." All other control parts remain in their original condition. Despite its spring-free construction, it still delivers a distinctive Strat-like sound. While maintaining a sense of speed and overall clarity, this guitar boasts a rich, thick tone in the front and center positions, a crisp, treble-filled bridge, and all the charm of a hardtail Strat.
