An upgraded version of Rattler! An even more evolved distortion sound.
The Rattler pedal builds on and refines the iconic tone of early 1980s distortion boxes, and now it's even better. Featuring a uniquely designed, discrete op-amp, it retains the character of the original while adding a custom-voiced mid-boost and introducing a second clipping option.
[Main features]
Custom Op-Amp:
We developed our own op-amp to replace the now-discontinued and hard-to-find LM308 chip for reliable power delivery, and the discrete design recreates the open, dynamic, tube-like feel that was so highly praised in the Rattler Mk.1.
Clipping Options:
Choose between the new "Symmetrical Clipping" and the traditional "Asymmetrical Clipping" for different feel and saturation characteristics.
Mid Boost Footswitch:
Add a new level of tone by using the left footswitch to add a mid-boost before the Rattler. This isn't just a volume boost; it's a tone enhancer. Rattler Mk.2 maintains the same fat, creamy distortion as the original, while offering expanded flexibility and tonal options.

[Internal Control]
-Internal trimmer: Adjusts boost output (factory setting: maximum)

Down: Applies low cut to the boost side (factory setting: reduces low frequencies, making the sound tighter).
●Upward: This setting allows low end to pass when the boost is on.
Regarding changing the startup state:
Normally, the Rattler will have its effects and boost functions off when plugged in. To change this setting, unplug the power cable, then replug the power cable while holding down the footswitch you want to change the state of. To verify that the change was successful, unplug the power cable again and plug it back in. To return to the original state, repeat the steps above.
