Description

Since its release in 1954, the Fender Stratocaster has been beloved by guitarists worldwide. This latest arrival is believed to have been shipped around 1971, featuring a rare, veneer maple fingerboard. The Olympic White finish, in particular, is similar to the guitars used by legendary artists, making it a rare and highly valued instrument worldwide.

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.5 kg. The body is made of alder. The coveted Olympic White color has faded to a moderate cream color, and the weather-checking creates a wonderful atmosphere. There are some dents, belt buckle marks, aging around the cutaway where the knee rests, and some tarnish on the metal parts, but considering its age, it is in fairly good condition. The back panel, two tremolo springs, and arm bar have all been replaced with new ones.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple, and the fingerboard is made of noteworthy laminated maple. There are few scratches on the headstock or back of the neck, and like the body, it is in very good condition. The tuners have some inconsistency in tightness, but they function well. The frets and nut have been replaced once, with very little wear and good playability. The fingerboard surface was also re-coated during the refret. The headstock is 16.8mm thick, and the nut width is 40.0mm, as specified for an A-neck. The neck shape is solid, without the feeling of a narrow-pitch A-neck.

[Electrical system]
The controls are classic Stratocaster-style: 3-way pickup selector, master volume, neck (front) position tone, and center position tone. The control parts, including the staggered-pole pickups, are in excellent condition from the original. This instrument has a fantastic acoustic sound, and when plugged in, it displays the speedy response you expect from a maple veneer finish, while the alder body's mellow tone and rich, full-bodied tone are appealing.
