Description

The Oracle Analog Echo delay pedal takes its cues from Japan's most iconic vintage BBD pedals, but isn't a total clone. Designed in collaboration with EAE's John Synder, Oracle is built to be easy to play in front of an amp and unobtrusive while playing your guitar. The simple, easy-to-use control layout lets you spend less time turning knobs and more time bending strings. The delay's internals are tuned to deliver a vintage warmth, without sounding muddy or dark.
Dual BBD Chipset
Oracle uses two MN3205 BBD chips, providing approximately 600 milliseconds of delay with the Time knob. Borrowing design elements from all the classic pedals we know and love, this Echo blends the delay signal on top of the clean signal with the Mix knob at maximum, rather than a pure wet signal, for a more 50/50 split. The feedback control is perfectly balanced, allowing you to play lively and at the very edge of oscillation. High-quality panel-mount In, Out, and DC jacks ensure the pedal remains reliable.
You might be wondering why a simple analog echo pedal has tap tempo. I love the ability to tap for quick adjustments, and the microcontroller controlling this circuitry lets you expand your creative palette. The tap tempo switch allows you to extend the knob's delay time beyond 600 milliseconds. Doing so degrades the BBD chip's signal, resulting in a lo-fi sound.
