A unique titanium capsule
The T2 offers a winning combination of solid performance and versatility.
Based on the chassis and features of the acclaimed sE4400, and featuring the special capsule from the popular all-purpose sE Titan, it delivers exceptional mid- and low-frequency balance, along with the subtle yet detailed high-frequency response that only a titanium capsule can provide.
Suitable for drums, percussion, overheads, hi-hat, orchestra, piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar cab, bass guitar cab, vocals, strings, woodwinds and brass.
The polar pattern can be selected from four types: cardioid, hypercardioid, Fogure 8, and omnidirectional, and it is also equipped with a 40 Hz/80 Hz low-cut filter and a -10 dB/-20 dB pad.
Handcrafted 1-inch titanium true condenser capsule
The T2 features a unique titanium-vapor-deposited capsule, which responds much faster to transients than gold-vapor-deposited capsules, providing a clearer, more accurate performance, especially for attack-intensive instruments like drums and percussion.
This special diaphragm is also rigid, allowing it to handle high sound pressure levels, such as loud percussion.
Rugged design: Choose from four polar patterns using a metal switch, from cardioid to omnidirectional, or from figure-8 to hypercardioid. The titanium-coated dual-diaphragm capsule minimizes bleed from unwanted sources, enabling precise miking in the studio or on stage.
●Rugged housing and luxurious finish With a durable die-cast all-metal housing, metal switches and a robust spring steel wire mesh grille, the T2 is built to withstand rigorous studio use and daily touring.
The flat body design and special suspension mounts allow for extremely flat settings against drum heads or guitar cabinets, making it suitable for a variety of uses.
Pre-attenuation pad and low-cut filter
Two selectable pre-attenuation pads expand the dynamic range to accommodate louder sources, while two low-cut filters easily tame excessive low-frequency leakage and the proximity effect, making close-miking easier.
●Factory matched stereo pair
The T2 is also available as a matched stereo pair, with matching capsules for the best possible stereo image.
The matched pair model includes a stereo mounting bar, two custom shock mounts, and a metal case.
