Description

J-Standard Series

Fujigen is a guitar factory that Japan is proud of around the world. Its reliable technology, which undertakes OEM production for numerous brands both domestically and internationally, has earned it high praise from guitarists and bassists around the world.

The J-Standard ODYSSEY (JOS for short) is Fujigen Guitar's flagship model, combining a traditional look with specifications that meet modern needs.

This model features an acacia core veneer, ash body, rosewood fingerboard, and a Koa Natural Burst color combination. The color, which is matched to the koa wood, is sophisticated and very attractive. The pickguardless design further enhances its appeal.

It also features "J-Standard fret edges" that support smooth fingering, as well as the recently popular "compound radius fingerboard," reducing stress when playing.

The pickup arrangement is the now-popular SSH (single-single-humbucker) and the controls are one volume, one tone, and a 5-way lever switch. The mini switch between the volume and tone controls the coil tap for the rear pickup; turning the switch on (pushing it forward) plays only one side of the humbucker pickup, giving you a crisp sound similar to that of a single pickup.

The pickups are Seymour Duncan, and the combination is carefully selected. The neck pickup is an Alnico II Pro, which produces a warm, forward-thinking sound, while the bridge pickup is a Pegasus, which produces a clear sound that can withstand heavy distortion. The center pickup is a standard SSL-1, which provides good balance even in the mid-tone range, allowing for a truly diverse range of sounds.

This guitar is particularly unique among the ODYSSEY models. Please consider purchasing it.
