A collaboration model between Darkglass and Musicman
Designed in collaboration with world-renowned bass accessory manufacturer Darkglass Electronics, the DarkRay opens up entirely new sonic possibilities.
The heart of the DarkRay lies in its tone, featuring a new 2-band EQ preamp designed by Darkglass specifically for the DarkRay. This preamp offers three selectable modes: Clean, Alpha (Distortion), and Omega (Fuzz), each with a distinctive and useful sound. These circuits can be mixed with the onboard Gain knob and Blend control to tailor the sound to your taste. Incredibly clean, subtle gain, and brutal fuzz tones are available without sacrificing low frequencies. A bright LED ring and 3-way lever switch let you see which mode is selected.
Everything about the StingRay is special: neodymium humbucking pickups, a durable roasted maple neck, a comfort-contoured body, 22 stainless steel frets, and the familiar 3+1 headstock.
There are some minor scratches, but the rest of the guitar is in good condition. There is plenty of room in the truss rod and the neck is in good condition.
