The long-awaited bluesbreaker pedal from ORIGIN EFFECTS!
The Halcyon Blue Overdrive is an overdrive pedal specialized for low to medium gain, featuring ORIGIN EFFECTS' unique adaptive circuit.
This latest addition to the Halcyon series, following on from Halcyon Green and Halcyon Gold, offers responsive and versatile tone options for classic drive pedal sounds with its Adapt and Voice switches.
Inspired by the early '90s Bluesbreaker pedal, the Halcyon Blue Overdrive recreates the clear, rich tone the Bluesbreaker is known for with its soft clipping circuit and extensive mid-range enhancement. It can be used to create a Marshall-like breakup sound with a clean amp, or to overdrive an already distorted amp without losing definition.
The Halcyon Blue Overdrive's adaptive circuitry gradually fades out the boosted midrange as you clean up, then works to restore full-range clean tone as you turn the volume knob back up. Combined with the additional gain and bass weight provided by the MOD setting of the VOICE switch, this makes classic overdrive tones more nuanced and responsive than ever before.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
