Also, the original accessories, including the dedicated hard case, are not included.

<"Kinran" 30th Anniversary Model>
The shell is made from the rare "akaki" wood of a 200-year-old Zelkova tree, which has been seasoned for five years and has a moisture content of 9%.The shell has a deep black color reminiscent of lacquer, and the vessels (grain) are embedded with pure gold, making it a masterpiece that uses gold-colored parts.

Canopus' flagship model, the hollow-body Zelkova snare drum, was our first original drum and remains a favorite among drummers worldwide. It boasts a powerful, impactful sound with excellent projection and a remarkably fast attack. It also boasts a wide tuning range unimaginable for a plywood snare drum. These are the main reasons why Zelkova snare drums are so popular with the world's top drummers.

Zelkova snare drums feature completely hollowed-out, solid wood snare drums carved from approximately 200-year-old Zelkova trees. After a three-year natural drying period, the drum is dried in a special dryer to a moisture content of 9% before shipping. However, the wood barrel is constantly shrinking and expanding due to external humidity. High humidity increases the barrel diameter, while low humidity decreases it. Conventional lugs feature a "swivel" to accommodate the tension bolt, eliminating the need for a swivel. However, Canopus tube lugs, with their solid construction, enhance the drum's vibration circulation efficiency. Therefore, if the barrel shrinks or expands, it can cause problems when attaching the tension bolt. To address these issues, a new lug, the Rotating Height-Adjustable Lug, has been developed. By rotating the center pole of the lug, the height can be adjusted to any desired value within a range of plus or minus 2mm.
