Description
Description
The Sterling by Music Man series is a high-cost performance series created to allow more players to experience the Music Man sound and feel.
This RAYSS is based on the Stingray, featuring a short 30-inch scale length and a compact body size for exceptional handling. The neck is made of roasted maple, which is highly rigid and has minimal distortion. The narrow nut width of 38mm provides a comfortable grip and smooth fingering. While featuring a simple passive circuitry, rare for the Stingray series, it also features a push-push volume pot that turns the gain boost on/off, and a three-position rotary pickup switch (parallel/single/series), allowing for a wide range of unique sound creation.
The short scale strings don't feel loose, and the tension is just right, allowing you to enjoy playing with different nuances and creating different sounds than with long-scale models. This unique model is recommended not only for those with smaller hands or bodies, but also for those looking to incorporate new sound nuances and playing styles!
