Housed in a sleek metal body, the YDM series dynamic microphone features a custom-designed unidirectional (cardioid) microphone capsule that accurately picks up sound and delivers clear audio to the audience.
The YDM707 features a supercardioid capsule that captures a wide frequency range and detailed sound, while narrowing the sound pickup direction to eliminate unwanted background noise.
■ Insulators that reduce handling noise
The YDM series is equipped with Yamaha's proprietary, advanced insulators that reduce external vibrations such as handling noise, allowing you to concentrate on your performance.
■ Sophisticated design and comfortable grip
The YDM series microphones follow the sophisticated design that incorporates the flowing curves of wind instruments. The top and bottom of the grip are accented with silver rings, giving the microphone a unique design.
The grip is not only beautifully designed, but has also been optimized through repeated prototype testing to ensure a comfortable feel.
■Accessories
In addition to the microphone holder, the YDM series also comes with a 5/8-inch to 3/8-inch conversion screw and a microphone pouch for convenient storage and carrying.
*The YDM707B comes with a black microphone holder, and the YDM707W comes with a white microphone holder. Both come with a black microphone pouch.
