These are sounds that will inspire new creative compositions and endless playing.

●7 newly developed reverb algorithms●5 further refined classic reverb algorithms●Unprecedented reverb effects realized through impulse response technology●Two reverbs can be used simultaneously●Ultra-high sound quality design: 116dB dynamic range●Uses a 3-core 800MHz ARM processor●32-bit floating-point processing●A/D & D/A: 24-bit/96kHz
●Stereo input and output ●Discrete Class A JFET preamp ●Selectable input level for instrument and line level signals ●Analog dry path for zero-latency dry signal that is not digitally converted ●Selectable true bypass or buffered bypass ●Expression pedal function ●Up to 300 presets can be saved ●INFINITE switch for switching between freeze and infinity functions ●USB-C jack

■12 world-class reverb machines

・MAGNETO
More than just a reverb, Magneto delivers classic magnetic drum delay, slapback, patterned repeats, and even chorus effects. The Magneto machine sets up a multi-head echo, allowing you to select any number of heads from one to six, and the Pre-Delay knob adjusts the feedback of the repeats. The Diffusion parameter provides deep, dimensional ambience, smoothly smearing the head response and blurring the line between delay and reverb. Optional stereo ping-pong instantly creates a huge stereo field, which is particularly effective when combined with other reverb types in dual scenarios.

・CHORALE
The Chorale machine creates captivating, vibrant vowel sounds in reverb. BigSky MX adds a new Choir engine, adding a tenor or baritone vocal section for even more powerful vocal pads. Additionally, the Mod knob is highly effective at adding realism to chorale effects. Turning up the Mod adds randomization to pitch and timbre, expanding the number of singers with unique voices and expanding creative possibilities.

・BLOOM
The newly added Harmonics Engine to BigSky MX's Bloom machine adds a crystalline polyphonic wind instrument sound to the overall sound. The core Bloom reverb features a slowly building envelope, creating a huge ambient sound that blends well with the dry signal, even at high mix levels. In addition to harmonics, Bloom features additional harmonic movement and a unique feedback parameter that delivers a wide range of catchy and emotive sounds.

・SHIMMER
MX Shimmer is a completely new take on the classic shimmer effect. This new algorithm is frequency-based, and unlike other pitch-shifting effects, it's optimized to work effectively at the end of the signal chain (where reverbs are most likely to be placed). This is a fast, modern shimmer with subtlety that works beautifully even before a second reverb. For the classic time-based ambient shimmer sound introduced by Brian Eno, choose the Classic Shimmer voice. We love both sounds, so experiment to see which one best suits the atmosphere you're trying to create.

・CLOUD
Cloud is a lush, large-scale ambient reverb that utilizes techniques developed in the late '70s. Use the Ensemble feature to create lush, synthetic string section swells from your guitar playing, while more subtle uses add an extra layer of harmonic richness to your reverb. Thanks to BigSky MX's powerful processing power, Ensemble's dynamic response has been significantly improved, further enhancing its organic, musical response to your playing.

IMPULSE: This convolution reverb references an impulse response (IR) file to mathematically perfect recreate the recorded space. BigSky MX includes a curated selection of IRs, ranging from captures of classic studio effects and wacky analog gear to natural spaces provided by third parties. You can also import custom reverb IRs using the free Nixie 2 app.

The Spring Machine, with its spring mix, tone control, dwell parameter, and spring count selection, allows for complete customization, from warm and mellow to dripping and splashing. The new MX springs offer a three-dimensional, realistic finish with a focus on drip. New analog tube modeling has been added to the dwell parameter, providing a full range of spring sounds, from super clean to driven tube amp (spring).

PLATE: Two plates are available: small and large. The Small Plate is a warm, vintage analog plate with tube preamp modeling that produces sweet saturation when pushed by a strong input signal. The Large Plate is the ideal digital plate, providing instant response and reverberation across the entire frequency range.

・CHAMBER
Chamber is a dense, medium-sized room reverb with excellent focus and clarity. Selectable color options recreate the differences between the various speakers, microphones, and preamps used in the process of capturing the chamber sound.

HALL: Diffuse reflections and slowly building density are the hallmarks of this beautiful and versatile reverb, designed from the ground up for BigSky MX. Concert size is well-balanced, spacious, and warm. Arena size is huge, enveloped, and vibrant. The Mid parameter lets you precisely EQ the reverb sound to fit perfectly into your mix. Hall also has a Swell parameter, allowing you to slowly build the reverb signal behind the dry signal, or mix the dry signal slowly into the reverb. At 100% Dry, you can swell the dry signal into a second reverb.

・ROOM
The BigSky MX Room algorithm creates environments that closely resemble anything from a well-tuned studio to a large nightclub ambience. The Tone knob, Diffusion, and Low End parameters adjust the attenuation and scattering effects of room materials, furniture, and people to enhance realism.

NONLINEAR: Non-linear, physics-defying reverb shapes can be used for special effects and creating unique textures. Choose from three "reverse" shapes, add a CHOP for tremolo, or a GATE for an abrupt cutoff. A huge number of time warps await you.
