A silent reed that makes no sound.
There are a few things that are most important when playing the saxophone.
Use your abdominal and back muscles to take a deep breath using abdominal breathing.

The drawback of this reed is that it produces no reed sound at all, as the vibrating parts are forcibly stopped. However, by taking advantage of this drawback, you can play silent reeds anytime, anywhere without disturbing those around you. Why not enjoy listening to a CD and listening to the saxophone through headphones? You can slightly adjust the resistance to suit your preference. Setting the reed more pulled back reduces resistance and allows for better airflow. Conversely, setting it more pushed out increases resistance. Simply changing the reed to your usual setting will result in silence.

I'm constantly researching and developing mouthpieces to ensure the best possible sound and performance. As a saxophonist, I've always thought about how happy I would be if I could play anytime, anywhere. Due to the impact of COVID-19, performance opportunities have decreased and practice spaces are almost impossible. I developed this reed with the hope that everyone would continue to play the saxophone. It feels better to play the saxophone when you can make sound. I know that all too well. I also think it's fine to practice quietly. However, please remember to use your abdominal and back muscles and breathe deeply using abdominal breathing! I recommend practicing until you can perform normally again, and then resume live performances! At first, you may feel confused about not being able to make sound. After a while, you'll get used to it and feel like you're playing normally.
