[We have a used performance series snare drum in stock, inheriting the DNA of the premium Collectors Series!]
This new "Performance Series" snare drum is a model that rivals higher-end models and was created directly by John Good, DW's vice president and drum designer, at a DW-owned factory!
The shell is made of North American maple and finished in a luxurious lacquer. While inheriting the DNA of its higher-end models, such as the "True Pitch Tension Rod" that allows for precise tuning and the "MAG Strainer" magnetic snare switch for a smooth feel, this model offers improved cost performance.
Using HVX shell technology (shell molding that combines three types of plying methods: horizontal grain, vertical grain, and horizontal-vertical cross), this snare drum has a good projection, depth, and sufficient volume, resulting in an excellent overall balance.
Shell: North American hard rock maple, 10-ply. Shell molding: HVX shell technology (a combination of three ply methods: horizontal grain, vertical grain, and horizontal-vertical cross).
Finish: Lacquer finish Size: 14 x 6.5
Hardware: Triple flange hoop 10 tension, True Pitch tension rod, MAG throw-off, Performance Series Original Lugs (mini lugs)
