TUBESCREAMER and Booster Bring New Frontiers to Overdrive - TS808DX
The TS808, a small green stompbox that still supports guitarists around the world, celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2014. The TS808DX is a completely new TUBESCREAMER that combines this classic overdrive pedal with a booster in a single box.
By using two iconic switches to switch between the same overdrive: TUBESCREAMER circuit (IC: JRC4558D) as the TS808 and the booster circuit, which can provide a 20dB boost, you can use it as a warm and creamy overdrive or as a booster when you want to increase the volume, and you can even use the overdrive and two boosters in combination.
The Pre/Post toggle switch allows you to set the booster circuit before (pre) or after (post) the overdrive, allowing you to enjoy an even more unique TUBESCREAMER sound.

-True Bypass Circuit The true bypass circuit means there is no degradation in sound due to switching.

●CONTROLS & FUNCTIONS
・OVERDRIVE CONTROLS
OVERDRIVE Controls the amount of distortion. Turning it to the right increases the amount of distortion.
TONE Controls the tone. Turning it to the right emphasizes the high frequencies.
LEVEL Controls the volume of the overdrive circuit. Turning it to the right increases the volume.
・BOOSTER CONTROL
BOOST Controls the booster gain. Turning it to the right increases the gain.
・FUNCTION
BOOST Pre / Post Switch This switch selects the location of the Booster circuit.

9V/18V Switch Selects the internal operating voltage between 9V and 18V. Operating at 18V provides sufficient dynamic headroom and improves operational stability. Operating at 18V also increases current consumption.
