Description
Description
The new Julia model with a retro-bizarre vibe has arrived from the prestigious German brand Duesenberg!
With its eye-catching, bizarre, retro look, the JULIA is designed in the style of Italian guitars from the 1950s and 1960s. Features like a pickguard that covers more than half of the body, a uniquely shaped sound hole, and an oval control plate combine to create a stylish, vintage feel. The neck pickup is a Domino P-90, also found in guitars like the Starplayer, and the bridge pickup is a Split/King Dual-Coil Pickup. The Split/King allows you to switch between single-coil and humbucker sounds with a flip of a switch. The split switch for the bridge pickup is separate from the 3-way lever switch on the master control. It's one of the mini switches visible behind the tremolo unit. The other is a direct switch dedicated to the bridge pickup. These combinations allow for a wide range of sound creation.
All Duesenberg guitars and basses are treated with another German ingenious product - the "Plek" fret dressing machine, ensuring perfect fret height and shape.
Computer-cut frets to hundredths of a millimeter for each neck, the Plek system eliminates string buzz, giving your instrument a great feel and sound.
