Description
The product that FREE THE TONE has custom-made most often to date is the signal junction box. It's a simple product that connects cables, but countless musicians use it as part of their pedal boards or rack systems. Packed with the know-how we've accumulated over more than 20 years, this product offers the highest sound quality and convenience.
One of the four lines on the JB-41C and two of the eight lines on the JB-82C support stereo plugs, allowing you to connect balanced audio line signals and control signals from amplifiers that use stereo plugs.
In addition to phone jacks, DIN connectors are also available. The 7-pin DIN connector is compatible with MIDI cables and ARC series LINK connections.
As pedal boards become smaller, there are more and more cases where effects, tuners, etc. are placed on top of the signal junction box. To address this, we have made the following two specification changes.
1. Changed terminal name display to silk printing (JB-41C/JB-82C)
With the conventional label design, if hook-and-loop fastener (Velcro) was applied on top, there was a risk that the label would come off when putting on or taking off, so we changed the design to silk printing.
2. The height of the JB-41C has been reduced. Taking into consideration that equipment will be placed above the signal junction box, the height of the JB-41C has been reduced from 56 mm to 34 mm.
- Wiring between devices is simplified, reducing the time required for setup.
- By connecting via a junction box instead of directly to effects pedals that are lined up in a narrow space on the pedal board, you can reduce damage to cables and plugs.
・The INPUT terminal on either side can be used as input depending on where you place this product.
Connectors: 8 x 1/4-inch standard phone jacks (6 x mono, 2 x stereo), 2 x DIN 7-pin connectors (for MIDI/ARC-3 LINK)
Dimensions: 120 (W) x 74 (D) x 34 (H) mm (including protruding parts such as jacks)

・Accessories: Warranty card, website access card
