Tilt Boost is based on the boost circuit of the Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive, whose sound was overseen by Shawn Tubbs, a session guitarist who has been active at the forefront of the music scene for over 30 years and who has recently become popular in North America for his numerous pedal and amp reviews on his YouTube channel.
The Tilt Boost features a DRIVE switch that adds a natural drive sound to the analog circuit's boost section, which can provide up to 20dB of boost.
With a typical booster, as the level is increased, the lows become bloated and the tone becomes dull. However, the Tilt Boost not only adjusts the boost level, but also features a TILT EQ control that allows you to easily adjust the overall sound balance with a single control, and a TIGHT switch that has the function of suppressing the low-frequency range calculated using a unique calculation, allowing you to obtain a clear boost sound that can be finely adjusted to suit the player's preference.
It delivers a classic clean boost that sets it apart from boosters that tend to be boomy.
Its wide range of settings allows it to be used with a variety of instruments and amplifiers, including bolt-on guitars with single-coil pickups, set-neck guitars with thick humbuckers, and low-gain and high-gain amps, making it suitable for a wide range of guitarists, allowing for a wide variety of sound creation.
You can also turn on the DRI VE switch for a fat overdrive tone.
Not only can it be used as a clear boost for guitar solos, but it can also be used all the time as an overdrive.
This compact effect unit features a durable metal housing. The input and output jacks are all located on the back, so no extra space is required even when using multiple effects side by side.
The power supply is 9VDC and can only be powered by a power supply (sold separately).
It features a true bypass design that outputs the signal without passing through unnecessary circuits when the effect is off.
