Description
Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger with a simple yet powerful control set: RATE, RANGE, and COLOR.
RATE sets the speed of the modulation, ranging from a slow, smooth filter sweep to a jittery vibrato.
RANGE controls how narrowly or widely the effect sweeps the low frequency band.
The COLOR control affects the intensity of the flanger effect, from a subtle chorus effect to a classic jet-woosh sound.
These three controls interact to create a wide range of modulation effects.
Additionally, Walking on the Moon features a FILTER MATRIX that decouples the LFO from the flanger circuit, giving the flanger a fixed filter effect, allowing you to add chimes or metallic harmonics to your sound without having to activate a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to split the dry signal from the effect signal.
Celebrating Andy Summers' classic, shimmering flanger sound, EHX Walking on the Moon pays tribute to the tones he used in his early days playing with The Police. The chorus-like depth and nuance of this liquid flange effect make Andy's sound one of the most captivating in the guitar world.
