Beetronics' highly acclaimed debut, OCTAHIVE, is back in its upgraded V2 form! While retaining the cool sound inspired by the iconic 70s octave fuzz pedal, it now adds creative functions to stimulate your senses.
The clever footswitch lets you smoothly switch between the ferocious high-gain fuzz of BUZZ mode and the evocative psychedelic OCTAVE mode at any time. It also supports momentary switching, allowing you to freely adapt to your expressive style.
This is a new style fuzz pedal that blends vintage and modern with the Beetronics sensibility.
Equipped with two modes: BUZZZ and OCTAVE.
The OCTAHIVE V2 is an aggressive pedal with two fuzz modes that you can switch between while playing.
BUZZZ: Warm, thick, super high-gain fuzz tone with the octave off. Its ferocious character is perfect for cool riffs on the low strings or powerful Coldplay sounds. Its high resolution keeps the tone crisp even with complex chord voicings.
OCTAVE: A mind-blowing psychedelic wonderland. Tweak the PRE control for a beautiful, sobbing octave up, or crank all the parameters to create a chaotic, shrieking sound.
Seamlessly switch between two modes!
The OCTAHIVE V2 footswitch not only turns the pedal on and off, but also switches modes. Its behavior changes depending on the current mode, allowing for clever use.
When the pedal is in bypass mode: Single click: Turns on OVTAHIVE V2.
Hold: Momentarily turns on OCTAHIVE V2. Release the switch to turn it off.
When the pedal is on, single click: turns the effect off.
-Double click: Switches between BUZZZ and OCTAVE modes.
・Hold: Momentarily switches modes.
In addition to quickly switching modes with a double press, you can also switch momentarily by holding down the switch. This lets you turn on the OCTAHIVE V2 for just a moment in a song, or use the high-gain sound of the BUZZY for chords and the high-octave OCTAVE for high-fret solos.
For momentary switching, you can choose from three profiles to set the time it takes for the mode to change.
