A bass preamp and drive pedal that combines warm yet powerful saturation sound with ease of use!
The LPF (Low Pass Filter) knob allows bassists to adjust the treble while preserving the bass inherent in their instrument. The LPF switch has three settings: Mid Boost (Position 1/Left), LPF Bypass (Position 0/Center), and Mid Cut (Position 2/Right).
The DRIVE knob covers everything from gentle low gain to brutal overdrive. Even when driven, the original overtones are not lost, allowing the bass tone to stand out even more without being drowned out by the ensemble.
The post-gain active EQ allows you to adjust the high frequencies (PRESENCE) and low frequencies (BODY). By boosting the low frequencies with the BODY knob, you can create a bold, full sound, and by boosting the high frequencies with the PRESENCE knob, you can create an edgy sound.
Whether used as an always-on preamp or as a drive pedal for extreme saturation, the AK470 perfectly conveys the bassist's full expression. Even in small digital systems or home recording environments, it'll upgrade your sound to a rich, powerful tone regardless of your pedal settings.
