Description

The Orange O-Bass, which was released in 2015 and received rave reviews, has been redesigned and is now back!

Released in 2015 to universal and critical acclaim, the Orange O-Bass is back with a few tweaks, big and small, solidifying its position as one of the most playable, colorful, and versatile bass guitars available. It retains everything that made the original O-Bass great, including its classic single-cutaway body shape and split-coil pickup positioned slightly closer to the neck than other basses, making it ideal for producing a deep, warm growl. Players with a softer touch will be transported to earthy, R&B-infused Motown territory, but dig a little deeper and the O-Bass will reward you with an infectious harmonic grind that evokes the birth of rock 'n' roll. Or, twist the tone knob for mellow dub or laid-back reggae.

The headstock has also been changed to black on both the orange and black models, achieving a timeless, classic look. But beyond the aesthetic, the O-Bass is packed with innovative technologies designed to enhance your playing experience. The body is crafted from okoume, a wood with properties similar to mahogany, and the fingerboard is made from durable purpleheart, providing perfect balance whether you're playing standing or sitting. The fretwork and neck molding, designed with playability in mind, mean jumping up the neck and making funky octave swoops feel more natural than ever before.
