Description
Description
For over 25 years, Earthworks microphones have defined the sound ideal for studios, concert halls, and performances, and with the SR117 you can experience that clarity, accuracy, and power.
Earthworks' ultra-fast technology at the heart of the SR117 ensures every performance is reproduced with vibrant sound.
■ Get the power and quality of a condenser and the peace of mind and security of a dynamic
The SR117 is designed for any singer or instrument. It delivers rich, clear lows, smooth, vibrant mids, and open, airy highs—all without limiting or overly coloring your voice. With a fast, clean frequency response, the SR117 doesn't muddy the lows or harshen the highs. With tight pattern control across the frequency range to prevent feedback and enhanced suppression of wind noise, plosives, and sibilance, the SR117 delivers the sound of a condenser microphone with the reliability of a dynamic microphone.
■For all performances
The SR117's design is effective not only in large live venues, but also in smaller venues, including home studios. Its excellent pattern control, specifically designed to prevent feedback during live performances, effectively suppresses noise even when recording in rooms with less-than-perfect room acoustics. The same goes for its balanced frequency response. Rather than spending time adjusting an old microphone with EQ to get the right sound, use the SR117, which delivers a natural, realistic sound right out of the box. While you can certainly apply EQ and effects for creative processing, even non-audio engineers can achieve great sound and performance.
■Good suppression of wind noise, plosives, and sibilance doesn't mean sacrificing ease of use. The SR117 is designed for any situation and for performers of all levels. Whether it's your first microphone or your last, you'll find it incredibly flexible and safe to use. Use it with confidence on stage, in hymns, in recordings, and everywhere in between.
