Audio Video Bridging (AVB) is an exciting new extension to the IEEE 802.1 standard. Designed for professional audio/video networking, AVB is a true AV standard that delivers real-time, low latency, and perfect sync over Ethernet. The MOTU AVB Switch quickly and easily adds five Ethernet ports for AVB devices. Take advantage of the many benefits of AVB, including plug-and-play, reliable connections, and automatic network device addition.
MOTU AVB devices connect using standard CAT-5e or CAT-6 cables. The MOTU AVB Switch automatically discovers connected AVB devices and adds them to the system—no IT expertise required.
The 1GB bandwidth that AVB uses means that it can handle a very large number of audio channels with very low latency. AVB is designed to ensure uninterrupted audio and video streaming. AVB systems keep audio and video streams on the AVB network regardless of other network conditions.
AVB connects to standard Ethernet devices found in homes, offices, and studios. It coexists with standard Ethernet devices, including Wi-Fi routers like Apple AirPort and Ethernet hubs. The MOTU AVB Switch features a dedicated connector for connecting standard Ethernet devices, eliminating the need to use one of the five AVB ports.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.
■ Shipping
We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
