★The world's first tabletop popping guard
The Proscreen DT101 is the world's first freestanding popping guard that can be placed on a tabletop without the need for a microphone stand or boom arm. It is ideal for podcasting, broadcasting, dubbing and other applications.
The base is made of 7mm thick steel and has a urethane foam bottom to prevent scratches on the desk. The gooseneck is 30cm long.
●Faithfully records the original sound The metal Proscreen allows you to faithfully record the original sound without losing high frequencies like a cloth popping guard.
● Unique processing to exhaust unnecessary breath
The Proscreen features a unique "metal duct" that allows only sound to reach the microphone during vocal recording, while venting unwanted exhaled air from the bottom to prevent it from hitting the microphone. Popping doesn't occur even when you get extremely close to the microphone. This effect can be easily experienced by blowing air into both the front and back of the device.
●How to use
The STEDMAN logo should face the vocalist. We recommend leaving about 5cm between the microphone and the Proscreen. The logo can be positioned anywhere, up, down, left or right.
Washable and clean: Made of metal, it can be washed with detergent and water. If the popping guard is clean, singers will be able to sing comfortably. In addition, it will not tear, so it will last longer than fabric products.
●Ideal for ribbon microphones Ribbon microphones are delicate and susceptible to wind, so using Proscreen can help prevent problems.
●Other than vocals
Proscreen is also useful for recording things other than vocals. For example, it can prevent the effects of wind on rotating speakers like Leslie. It can also prevent unnecessary air vibrations when placing a microphone in the bass drum hole, allowing you to capture the original sound of the bass drum.
Flexible gooseneck: The gooseneck is covered in durable vinyl, which protects the gooseneck while maintaining flexibility and reduces noise during installation.
