Description
The NUX Tape Echo is modeled after the Japanese-made Space Echo, released in 1974. NUX's unique Core Image Technology delivers a realistic sound.
It reproduces seven different combinations using three playback heads. It also allows you to switch between MS/BPM (Sub-division). It also includes spring reverb, self-feedback that reproduces oscillation sounds even from silent conditions, and a built-in looper. Intuitively operate the various controls to create a pleasant echo sound.
NUX's unique Core Image Technology reproduces realistic echo sounds. Spring reverb is also included.
- Seven sound variations using three playback heads. MS/BPM (Sub-division) switching is also possible. The selected tape head is shown on the display, so you can see what is selected at a glance.
- SATURATION reproduces the distortion and compression of a preamp, and WOW and FLUTTER reproduce the fluctuation of the echo sound and can be set individually. It also has a KILL DRY function that turns off the dry signal (original sound) and outputs only the echo sound.
- Tap tempo allows you to set the time with your feet.
-It also has a self-feedback function that oscillates by pressing and holding the ON switch even when there is no input signal, and an SOS (Sound on Sound) mode (40-second phrase loop).
It also supports stereo output for reproducing a wider echo sound. It is also equipped with terminals for connecting external expression pedals and MIDI devices, and a 3.5mm TRS to 5-pin MIDI cable is included.
- You can connect it to a PC and use the "Tape Echo Editor Software" to set parameters and MIDI assignments.
