Legend meets future
Eight legendary 1073R remote-controlled preamps feature Mariner® transformers, USB, and Dante digital connectivity, bringing Classic NEVE preamp sound into the future.

Introduced in 1970, the 1073R quickly became the microphone preamp of choice for leading producers and engineers, and has since become one of the world's most desirable preamps. To this day, designed and manufactured in England by AMS Neve, its unique tone, warmth, low-mid punch, and subtle harmonic distortion make it the most prestigious front end for recording in studios of all sizes.

The 1073OPX continues the 1073R lineage, featuring eight legendary preamps in a 2U rack unit. Front and rear connectors provide comprehensive connectivity to any studio, live, or broadcast environment, while the latest remote control software provides bidirectional control of all settings with save/load functionality and Total Recall. Microphone input sources benefit from a Mariner® transformer-coupled input stage, allowing sources to be connected directly to the front-mounted mic/line/DI inputs for recording in the studio control room.

With the optional 1073OPX Digital Option Card, it can be used as a complete standalone I/O interface or as a remote preamp for live rooms, with a fully latency-free monitor cue mix signal path.

This optional digital I/O card includes Neve mastering-grade converters for up to 192kHz/24-bit A/D conversion over a USB connection, allowing it to be used as the primary audio interface to a connected DAW-enabled computer, and as the primary and secondary Dante® connections for Audio-over-IP applications.
