★Legendary Limiter/Compressor available for the 500 series

Designed in 1974, the Neve 2264A mono Limiter/Compressor unit quickly became legendary.

Built by Neve engineers in the UK, the 2264ALB retains the unique sonic characteristics of the original 2264A by using the same architecture, matching components and original hand-wound transformer, while adding new features.

It offers similar features and performance to the previous 2254 limiter/compressor type, packaged in a more compact form factor. Its discrete Class A/B design and transformer-coupled circuitry in the input, innovative bridged driver design, sidechain, and output stages deliver a completely unique sound. The original 2264A unit remains highly sought after, decades after it was discontinued, and remains one of the gold standard in studio equipment.

Crafted by Neve engineers in the UK, the 2264ALB utilizes the same architecture, matching components, and original hand-wound transformers as the original 2264A, preserving the unique sonic characteristics of the original while adding new features like a signal presence indicator LED and a slow attack option. It also offers a modern, portable form factor that professional producers and engineers demand. Simply install it in an available slot in a compatible 500 Series rack and connect a line-level signal to inject the legendary Neve dynamic sound into your audio productions. It also pairs perfectly with the incredible Neve 1073LB microphone preamp module. The 2264ALB module can be inserted between the input and output stages of the 1073LB module to create an entirely new Neve classic audio path (the module must be installed in the same 500 Series rack).

■Product Features ・Classic mono limiter/compressor ・Transformer-coupled circuits used in input, bridge driver, side chain and output stages ・Independent limiter and compressor IN/OUT selectors ・BYPASS switch for direct connection between input and output terminals ・Digital LED meter shows gain reduction of 0dB to 20dB in approximate PPM ballistics
Audio Processing Insert Design: Allows audio from a 2264ALB module to be inserted into the audio path of an existing 1073LB module (the modules must be installed in the same 500 Series rack)
Compatible with 500 series racks/enclosures requiring power and line level input/output connectors

■Product Specifications Control Input: 10k ohm, bridging, balanced, earth free
・Output:Maximum output >26dBm into 600ohm, balanced and earth free.
